24" Pole Mount
 This two speed (TS) pole mount unit covers more surface
area, moves more air and has better overall specifications while utilizing
a smaller blade and frame size. The coverage area is greater because
of the unique shroud design. The spun aluminum heavy-duty safety shroud
produces a cone-shaped air pattern that moves air further down stream
and more evenly over the entire green. Exclusive Tempest features include:
- European
Safety grills.
- Easy to mount on user-supplied threaded pole.
- Adjustable
oscillator arm.
- Available in 115v or 220v configurations.
- Low speed
for general maintenance and high-speed for tough greens.
Power Blower Model/Placement Recommendations:
- 6,000
square feet (560 square meters) greens or smaller, with chronic
problems or a standard oval shape can be covered with one 24” Pole
Mounted Electric with an Oscillator.
- If the green is an odd shape or is long and narrow,
they may require
two Power Blowers.
- The Pole Mounted Electric needs to be 7 feet (2.1
meters) in overall height after installation, and can be installed
well off
the green, about 15
to 20 feet (4
to 6 meters), as a general rule. They need to be back, out of the way
of players and also taking advantage of any prevailing winds. If
this is not possible,
no
problem. The portable fans can be used for spot problems of cooling
and drying.
- The gas units are used when there is no electricity
available or extra power is needed.
